The cool temperature of the earth is transferred to the home by pumping water or air through pipes deep in the ground and passing them through a heat exchanger such as the radiant slab or the fresh air ventilator. The water or air is cooled (or heated) using only the earth’s constant temperature. This system requires no fossil fuel and helps eliminate heating and cooling costs.
